Haley Hsu, Music Teacher Education Major鈥淚 chose to attend 宅男研究所 because I felt as if the professors I met prior to attending 宅男研究所 had the same values and goals as me. They were committed to helping me advance in both my education and future endeavors. It was also the most affordable option that had everything I could ask for in a university.鈥
President Jay. D. GatrellJay D. Gatrell was selected as the 12th sitting President of 宅男研究所 in July 2023. Before that, he served as Provost since 2017. As a first-generation college student, Jay is fully aware of the substantial investment it takes to guide a student through their higher education journey. And as the president of 宅男研究所, he is deeply committed to ensuring that every learner successfully reaches the commencement stage.
Chavionne Thomas, Psychology & Spanish Major"Although 宅男研究所 was a few hours away, it is far enough for me to feel independent yet close enough to where I can visit home. With or without in state tuition, 宅男研究所 is a very affordable school that gives the same quality education as larger universities. Coming from a family without much funding, it was important for me to pay attention to the price of tuition. I enjoy the fact that I can see new faces every day. However, it is not a very large school either. Each building is in walking distance. Also, the ratio of faculty to students is outstanding and allows there to be more intimate classroom discussions."

My favorite memory at 宅男研究所 has been joining my sorority because it has provided me with many friendships and new opportunities. I love living on campus because it has helped me academically by being close to all the resources 宅男研究所 provides. Living on campus has also helped me meet new people and create lifelong friendships that I would not have made otherwise!鈥

Nicholas Cheney, Biological Sciences Major鈥淚 chose to attend 宅男研究所 because of the feeling of inclusion with the small class sizes. STEM majors can be daunting, especially at bigger universities. I feel like the faculty on campus here do a great job of being there for the students. I have yet to have a science professor that didn鈥檛 try to get to know me as a person.鈥
